BUILDING A MEDICINAL AND SPICE HERB GARDEN MAY 3RD,  AT FOREST HOUSE $30 

This one day intro course will cover the basics of designing and planting a medicinal and culinary herb garden.

WILDCRAFTING $30 June 14th

Come on a day hike and wander in the North Thompson with long time local herbalist and learn about the medicinal and useful local wild plants. learn some basic identification and ethical and sustainable gathering practices. and take home a compound made from your gatherings.

HOMEMADE MEDICINE July 19th —$30

Gathering from the medicine gardens at Mullein Stone Herbs in Upper Clearwater near Wells Gray Park Learn how to make safe ‘simples’ to aid in minor ailments.

Infusions, tinctures, decoctions for flus, colds, sprains and strains.

Preparing herbal Oils and Cremes – $30 – Aug 2nd

A day in the apothecary preparing and using herbal oils and ointments from the herbs and flowers that we gather. Includes materials.

Harvesting and Storage – Aug 23rd – $30

Learn specific harvesting and drying storage procedures for herbal roots, leaves and flowers.

Crafting with Herbs – Sep 13th – $30

This fun day will take us into the gardens to pick items to create gifts and goods. Herbal blends for cooking and teas. Herbal vinegars. Dream pillows. Soap. Materials included.
